A few Summers ago I planted a couple of banana peppers and they put out more than I could use up. I canned some pepper sauce and used the others in different recipes like this one. It's my take on jalapeno poppers, just milder and the pepperoni is a delicious addition. I make them for snacking and they are a great appetizer/finger good for when family or friends have gathered. Honestly, they are hard to resist after having the first bite.
