This old school desk that came from my mom's elementary school was in rough shape after many years of use. It was so bad that it wasn't safe for my granddaughter to play with it as it was. I found these at the DI for $7 each. I fell in love. SOLD!! I had my husband take them apart and I sanded and painted them. I started out by after he painted one bottom black he said the black powder coat looked so good-so we decided to do both of them black. I painted over the black one with green {because I didn't want an all black desk} and then sanded it just enough to see some of the black paint come through in some spots. Before After
