So, I’m kinda curious about something - would you guys be interested or against me writing fanfiction/drawing fanart for Cookie Run Kingdom?

The main reason I ask is cause I know both my AO3 and Tumblr have been Dragon Ball centered for roughly 3 years now, and for the most part still will be.

But I’m getting sucked into this fandom like a vortex - I love Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla (as well as other characters), and I’ve had some fanfiction ideas spewing in my head for a couple weeks now. Specifically, a Shadownilla oneshots book, and a different, longer story that’d have my own AU version.

Still, everything I’ve written thus far has been about Dragon Ball, and I wouldn’t want people to lose interest if I start writing/drawing for another fandom, or start to think I’m out of my Dragon Ball obsession (cause that’s not the case - I still daydream about Frieza/Frost on a daily basis).

I know ultimately, the decision is mine to make, and I should do what I want. But I still wanted a bit of input. For curiosity’s sake I guess.

Keep in mind, I don’t plan to write anything new for a while yet - I’m still on break. And once I’m off break, I intend to finish In Name Only and Opposites Attract first (and the YOTP oneshots, but that’s a monthly thing).

Anyway, I guess that’s the post. Some food for thought.

Yeah, it feels a little weird, and it won’t happen too often lol. But I wanted to draw my team from Cookie Run Kingdom, and I think this turned out really good. I *did* use a base though (for reference, not tracing) and it’s down below

Okay so….i gotta vent.

Lately, work has been shit. I’ve been stressed and exhausted.

But there’s two things I’ve bern looking forward to that have helped me through this bullshit. One, I ordered a Shadow Milk Cookie plush on Amazon - before you say it, yes I know it’s not the original sellers. But I missed on the preorder, and thought maybe I could just find one like this. And two, I’ve been working on a drawing of my team on Cookie Run Kingdom. And it was almost finished too.

And what happens?

First, my plush turned out to be a bootleg - a bad one.

This is what I was hoping for.

And this is what I got….

I knew this was a risk. I’m fully aware I did this to myself. But man, the disappointment is real. I wouldn’t even care about him being a bootleg if he just looked better! I’ve actually bought good bootlegs before! It’s possible!

*sigh* Anyway, as if that’s not enough. I try to calm my anger to finishing my almost complete drawing. Except the drawing app I use is kinda weird, and will sometimes not save drawings properly.

So guess which drawing got deleted? One I worked on for at least a few hours!!

Okay, I’ve seen countless posts about how good this fic “Jambound” is. Apparently it’s a Shadownilla fic, so it’s officially caught my interest already.

There’s literally tons of fanart for it - for a fanfic!! I rarely ever see it for a fanfic!!

So yeah, looks like I gotta give it a shot.

(Also I’m totally feeling tempted to write my own CRK fanfic lol)
