1. Split 15 into 10 and 5.

2. Draw a rectangle and divide it into two sections. Label one section 10 and the other section 5.

3. Multiply 9 x 10 = 90 and 9 x 5 = 45

4. Add the Partial Products 90 + 45 to get the final product 135
