Who doesn’t love an abundance of basil?   Pruning your basil also helps the plant to bush out instead of just growing tall. Prune your basil and use what you’ve pruned. Don’t take the large leaves from the bottom.   Pinch the stem above the two leaf nodes. Those leaf nodes will grow new stems and so on. You can use what you pruned OR you can propagate the new cutting.   To propagate, you just need to put in water for a few days to a week and it’ll grow roots.
