If you are an early elementary teacher, then you will want to learn my tips for resetting after a holiday break. It is important to take some social emotional learning time and check in with your students to see how they are doing. After the winter break, I have my early elementary classroom complete goal setting for students. I like to read the picture book, Word Collector, and have students pick a word of the year for kids. Don’t forget to build in classroom community time with games!
