2K views · 8.6K reactions | I’m weeks away from holiday decorating, but I wanted to share this pressed plant clay tree ornaments, because they are so cute, easy, nature inspired and you may want to make them.

I rolled out an inch size piece of air dry clay, then I pressed leaves into them using the rolling pin. I used sage leaves, fern leaves, juniper leaves,/needles and a couple sprigs of lavender. The choices are endless.

Use a straw to make a little hole for adding a string later. Smooth out the edges and let them dry for a day or two.

I used a salve tin to make the circle cut, a cookie cutter would work even better, but you know, use what you have.

Once they are dry tie a string through the hole and you’ve made a cute little nature inspired Christmas tree ornament.
