Jamie Walton | Nettles & Petals on Instagram: "Planting French Beans 🌱🫘   Today I’m planting out a climbing variety called ‘cobra’ so I build some simply tipi like structures from bamboo we have growing onsite, bamboo is very invasive though so keeping it contained is advised if you do decide to grow it.   I dib a hole and transplant one plant per cane at around 4-6 inches apart at the base of the structure.   As they are a climbing plant french beans can be grown vertically, meaning they produce good harvests from a relatively small area.   They are tender plants that like warmth and plenty of sun though, so wait until there is no chance of frost in your area before planting.
