Stereotypes, widely held simplified and generalized perceptions or images of a particular type of person or thing, play a significant role in how individuals perceive and interact with the world around them. From the viewpoint of cultural anthropology, stereotypes not only shape social interactions but also influence societal structures and cultural norms.

This post really is worth a thousand words. It shows some huge gender stereotypes for men and women. Gender and how society views it is a huge problem for me, when people don't fit into "man" or "woman" it makes it so easy to discriminate and make them feel like a second class citizen.

Stereotypes are traits regularly associated with specific groups of people based on factors like their race, nationality, and sexual orientation.

We tend to believe that people telegraph how they're feeling through facial expressions and body language and we only need to watch them to know what they're experiencing—but new research shows we'd get a much better idea if we put ourselves in their shoes instead. The findings are published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.

The world became a Man's world when humans began relying on agriculture for their survival. Prior to that women, in all religions and cultures, were respected. Today, Our society has a set of ideas about gender roles in society and how we expect men and women to dress, behave, and present themselves. While people continue to stereotype women often forget that we still continue to personify nature as "Mother Nature" - A woman.
