First we ate the oranges which as they fun part
I find that cuties are the easiest to scoop out leaving the bowl shaped orange peel part intact.

Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "My orange peel mushrooms but make it a garland I have shared how to make these several times but they are seriously one of my favorite things to do . they are super simple. All you need to do is cut your oranges in half (I use cuties because they are really easy to remove from the peel) Let the peels dry . I baked them at 200°F for one hour flipping them over halfway through. when they are dry and hard, it’s time to paint I decided to add eye hooks to the top so I could thread some twine through them Then I glued my twig to the bottom, and added a few more details I think these would also make really cool ornaments and a much easier version of the paper clay ornaments I shared a while back if that is more your speed. 😊 Here’s some common q Orange Peel Mushroom Craft, Orange Peel Mushroom Garland, Orange Peal, Orange Mushroom, Fairy Things, Mushroom Crafts, Orange Skin, Orange Rind, Cottage Christmas

Kelly Bradford on Instagram: "~Create~I saw @sibster make these cute mushrooms from dried orange peels over the holidays and I thought they were so cute! I’m so obsessed with mushrooms right now I needed to make my own! Just peel your orange so it creates a mushroom cap, let them completely dry out or you can put them in the oven at a low heat if you don’t want to wait. Paint them and I hot glued my sticks to the inside of the cap, really that’s the hardest part. Waiting for the glue to dry was brutal! Just kidding 😜 I thought they would be so cute in my plants!
