Here’s my process painting spindles going from old oil based discoloured spindles to sparkling white waterbased ✨

I wasn’t able to use my electric sander due to this being an office building for a local accountants and everyone was constantly on and off the phones to clients so it was old school sanding by hand 🖐️

Obviously I do recommend a small electric sander if you’ve got one to use on the flatter sections but as you can see it’s very achievable either way.

Products used 👇
☑️Sanding pad in 60 grit- these can be purchased from most decorating stores and online and places like toolstation/screwfix also sell them
☑️Sandpaper in 120 grit
☑️Mini roller I used was Prodec Ice Fusion Micro Roller
☑️Angled brush - I’m u Painted Staircase Spindles, Paint Spindles, Painting Spindles On Staircase, Stripping Paint From Wood, Electric Sander, Stripping Paint, Angled Brush, Decorating Themes, Sanding
