Essentially, my garden is annoyingly far away from larger sources of water (although I have and do use the hose from the house in the heat of the summer and I do have two IBC totes about 50 yards away connected to the outdoor shed) but I had these smaller rain barrels that could never be adequately filled due to lack of a roof to funnel the free rain water into them. Pinterest at the time didn’t have any good designs so this is what I finagled together. Basically it is a butterfly roof angled Barrels Diy, Water Collection System, Butterfly Roof, Water Barrel, Water Collection, Rain Barrel, Home Vegetable Garden, Rain Water Collection, Vegetable Garden Design
