Fantastic collages made from mid-century issues of Paris Match and Playboy

Since closing his modern art gallery in 2009, Belgian artist Sammy Slabbinck has been using his extensive collection of mid-century magazines to create surreal collages. Two decades of collecting old copies of _Paris Match_ and _Playboy_, as well as books and encyclopaedias, have provided him with all the material he needs in order to dream up fantastical scenes that might see a woman ironing the Alps or a highway disappearing into a pair of pursed lips.
