Thread weaving

The bag making starts with the weaving of hundred percent jute or Hybrid of Jute Cotton fabrics. In jute fabric, jute threads are used both in horizontal and vertical stitching, in jute cotton, jute is used in horizontal fashion (in shuttles of loom) to hide the roughness, and to give a detailed finish through cotton thread overlaying, jute cotton fabric is in more demand because cotton can be easily dyed in numerous color options and fine smooth texture feel.

Weaving with denim is another one of my favorites. I especially love the idea of re-using the denim fabric from jeans that we can no longer wear. Denim also adds a really unique texture to weaves. It has a sturdiness to it that allows you to use it in ways that wouldn't work with yarn.

I had my ups and downs but over all I think I actually like weaving with mohair. It was definitely a change of pace from my normal weaving. My style is usually heavy with texture, so this was a challenge to make something lighter. Mohair is much more tacky then the yarns I usually weave with,
