slang
1. noun Trash, rubbish, or waste. I want to do a big cleanup of the house and get rid of all the cack we don't use anymore. We need to get this cack out of here before Grandma comes to visit. Uncle Ron needs to come over and get all of his cack out of our garage!
2. noun Excrement. A: "Ew, what's that smell?" B: "I think someone's got cack on their shoes." Ugh, I just washed my car, and there's bird cack on it already! Watch out for cack with all these animals roaming around out here.
3. noun Gunk, goop, or crud. Yuck, I'm not smearing that cack on my skin! The plumber discovered that a layer of foul-smelling cack had started forming around the inner walls of the pipes. You'll probably need to pull out the drainage pump from the washing machine and clean out all the cack inside.
4. noun By extension, that which is useless, baseless, or worthless. Ah, that's just a bunch of old cack. Don't believe a word of it! This used to be a reputable website for news about science, but now it's just full of clickbait cack. Come on, now, you don't actually believe any of that, do you? Those rumors are a load of cack.
5. verb To defecate. I nearly cacked my pants from fright! It stinks in this bathroom! Someone must have just cacked in here. Much to my frustration, my potty-training daughter only realizes she has to go to the bathroom when she's practically cacking her pants.
6. verb To kill (someone). I heard the mob cacked him for talking to the police. An attack that large could cack us all! A sniper positioned high above City Hall cacked the mayor and created a panic.

cack up

rude slang
1. To cover or fill something with goop or gunk. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "cack" and "up." ("Cack" is a slang term for feces, used figuratively here.) You're going to cack up the engine if you don't get your oil changed more regularly. It seems that years of dirt and debris have really cacked up the pipes. Ew, gross, what cacked up the drainage pump from the washing machine like this?
2. By extension, to cause something to malfunction or work poorly. Usually used in passive constructions. I tried using a program to clean up and optimize my computer, but it's still cacked up. What the heck did you do to the blender? It's all cacked up! I think this ceiling fan's cacked up. That grinding sound it's making is not encouraging.
3. To ruin, bungle, or make a mess of something. In this usage, a noun or pronoun can be used between "cack" and "up." The government really cacked up the new online system for filing tax returns. He didn't study for the test at all, so it's no surprise that he cacked it up. Boy, you really cacked up this report—I'm not sure I can even fix it.

cack-handed

1. Unskilled or clumsy with one's hands. Primarily heard in UK, Australia. No, I'm too cack-handed to repair that delicate figurine. Joey's always been cack-handed, so I don't know why you bothered signing him up for piano lessons. My mother does beautiful calligraphy, but I'm cack-handed. I can barely even hold the pen the right way!
2. Inept in one's personal interactions. Primarily heard in UK, Australia. Tommy is so cack-handed that he'll never be able to mediate this situation. Please, you're too cack-handed—you'll never be able to sweet-talk the neighbor to help you out with this. Geez, you need to use some finesse! You can't be so cack-handed if you're hoping for a reconciliation here.
