DRY

An acronym for "don't repeat yourself," a principle used in computer programming with the intent of reducing repetitive or redundant code in software development. You need to make sure your software architecture is clear and well planned, which will result in nice, DRY code that is more efficiently written and more easily reused in other projects. If you take nothing else from this class, remember the importance of DRY code. No prospective employer wants have to untangle code that is repetitive or unclear. This is awfully confusing. I see the previous developer wasn't too concerned with writing DRY code, huh?
