Abigail Arcane is the niece of Anton Arcane, and the avatar of the Rot, the Black Queen. Abigail Arcane was born into the aristocratic Arcane family of Blestemat, in Eastern Europe. After accidentally killing her own mother with her latent abilities, she was raised by her uncle Anton Arcane, who tried to draw out her connection to The Black - an elemental force of rot, death, and decay to which all Arcanes share a link - when she accidentally rotted her own mother to death as an infant.[1]…

Abby is the niece of Anton Arcane, former wife of Matthew Cable (now known as Dream's raven Matthew) and was wife of the Swamp Thing and mother of Tefé Holland. In the new 52, she is the still the niece of Anton, but no longer Swamp Thing's wife.

Abigail "Abby" Holland is a fictional character in the DC Comics Universe. created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, she first appeared in Swamp Thing #3 in 1973. Born into the Aristocratic Arcane family of Transylvania, she is the daughter of Gregori Arcane. . She possesses natural shining white hair, the color of fresh snow, with two overlapping black streaks. Abby possesses psychic powers which include empathy, telepathy and telekinesis.
