These cookies are amazing. Chewy and covered in toasted almonds and dipped in dark chocolate. YUM! I don't bake a lot of sweets as you have noticed. I am much more of a savory type. My kids beg me every so often to bake some cookies. I give in every now and then. This is a recipe that was given to me by the kitchen at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. I changed it up a bit.
