This summer, HCCC introduced a new addition to our Craft Garden: the Coix Lacryma Jobi plant, also known as Job’s Tears! This plant produces tear-shaped seeds in a variegated gray color that can be used in jewelry making and beading. These beads are unique, as they grow naturally on the plant, with a hole through the middle and a hard, shiny coating. I planted two involucres  and got two Job's tears plants. After their  flowering process the two involucres were still visible. I cleaned and reused them. ( I made a pair of earrings).
