At this station, students dive into a variety of hands-on activities designed to reinforce their understanding of the letter I. Starting with a coloring page, they progress to using magnetic bingo chips to trace the letter's shape, which they can magically clear with a magnetic wand. I teach that the letter I, consisting of one big line and two little lines, is a vowel with two sounds—I as in igloo and I as in ice, where vowels can say their own names. For fine motor skills enhancement, students decorate the letter I using seasonal erasers, reinforcing the letter sound with each placement: 'I says I.' They engage in a letter recognition activity by circling all I's in a specially chose Circle Shape Activities For Preschool, Magic Letters Activity, Clothespin Alphabet Activities, Literacy Stations Prek, Alphabet Stations Kindergarten, Independent Alphabet Activities, Fine Motor Activities To Help With Handwriting, Letter I Activities, Letter M Activities

Preschool Vibes on Instagram: "📚✨ Exploring the Letter E! After our whole group lesson on the letter E and its sound, students head over to our letter table for some hands-on, multi-sensory practice. 🎨🖐️ In this video, I’m excited to show you all the engaging ways we dive into learning about the letter E. From seeing and hearing to touching, we ensure our activities engage all senses. The sound of the letter E—'eh'—is one of the trickiest for kids to grasp. I like to demonstrate it by stretching my mouth wide and repeating, "E says eh, eh." The lowercase 'e' is particularly challenging; it’s the naughty letter that starts in the middle, unlike most other letters that start at the top. Plus, E is the last vowel we learn, marked distinctively in yellow along with other vowels in our revie E Words For Kids, Letter Practice Preschool, Letter E Activities, Writing Practice Preschool, Letter E Craft, Letter Recognition Preschool, Letter Sound Recognition, Letter School, Letter Song

Here are our Monday activities for H Week! We built the letter in lots of different ways in our ever popular letter building center. We reviewed the letter on our Letter of the Week chart by singing our H Letter Formation Song, doing our H Action (hopping!), making the h sound, and reciting six different objects that start with H! Last, we practiced H on our Sky-Grass-Dirt paper with dry erase markers. ⠀
