While I was studying abroad last semester I got a brilliant idea for a jewelry carrying case. I decided to get an old suitcase from the thrift store, add a metal mesh screen to the inside of the top and use the bottom for transporting half trays of rings and pendants and other miscellaneous pieces of jewelry. An old suitcase

vintage suitcase/portable jewelry display. The inside of the suitcase is in mint condition so I didn't want to do anything permanent. I covered a piece of corkboard with fabric and tucked it in the large pocket to pin jewelry for display and also covered paint rollers and pool noodles to display bracelets.
