Once you take up weaving, you become a maker of cloth. In quite a magical way, you are able to produce your own fabric. You can either choose to weave an item that is basically finished when it comes off the loom, or you can use your hand woven cloth as a stepping stone or starting point for something else.If you have, or can learn basic sewing skills, you are well on your way to creating unlimited projects with your handwoven fabric. Here's a more detailed tutorial for making a cardboard loom! The size of the corrugated cardboard I used is 20cm x 26cm. Once you are finished weaving, you pull the cloth off the loom and it's ready! No need to tie the ends since everything is looped together.

We turned our woven cloth into a coin purse. This would also be a great way to make some mug coasters for a DIY holiday gift 😊
