the degree that parents of young children seem to think Baby Shark came out of nowhere astounds me. this is a DECADES-OLD camp song, that has spanned generations.
i am not a parent of a young child but i worked at summer camps for years and let me tell you before it was ruined by parents of young children baby shark was the most fun camp song ever. kids went buckwild over baby shark. but then it had to be commercialized. you ruined it. yall motherfuckers stay away from the bear song or we’ll have words
I don’t buy the claim this was done without NPS approval. Maybe there was someone who made changes without a supervisor technically reviewing them, but I fully believe this started with the NPS telling employees to scrub anything DEI related, at least one employee interpreting that as rewrite the page to whitewash history, and the supervisors giving tacit approval.
Hey guys, can we talk about how the switch 2 is 450 dollars? How games are gonna cost 80 dollars on it? How pro controllers are gonna cost 80 dollars, and joycons 90? Can we please talk about how fucked up this is?

That’s without getting into the “game key” cards furthering the degradation of ownership. Nobody should pay $80 to not actually own the game.
There should be an added 11 and maybe a 12 about identifying blind spots in surveillance, and that not all cameras are detectable or noticeable so be sure to obscure your features in a way that can be reverted easily so as not to draw suspicion. Like wearing a light scarf over your face and hair, and then pocketing the scarf so it’s not visible after you have left the area.
My favorite bookstore ever was in Salem, MA and looked like this:
Extremely fucking precarious setup. Afraid to brush against anything. But if you went to the counter and asked for something, the guy there not only somehow knew where to find it, he could yank a book out of any given teetering stack without disturbing the rest.
^ i went to this bookstore once in college, and then years later visited salem again and tried to find it, only to discover, in its place, a very neat and organized conventional bookstore with everything on shelves. i asked one the employees what happened that it underwent such a radical shift and they said, the mold,
This will sound biased because I am a girl with freckles everywhere, I think it’s very important to appreciate girls with freckles everywhere. She’s got cute little dots all over her body how could you not love that
