I often emphasize in my work and in my personal health journey that the unpredictability of tomorrow is a constant. Currently feeling completely drained and worn out. It is incredibly difficult to witness and feel helpless about the situation. What's even more surprising is that Palmy Hospital discharged her, only to discover her body was essentially paralyzed. On Thursday, August 8, approximately 1145. The hospital doctor, Dr. Chauhan, came in and stated that she was going to push for clearance for both of my doctors, orthopedic and infectious disease, to have me cleared so that I can be discharged tomorrow. When I asked why I was being discharged, she stated it was because the move is a logistical nightmare, and it’s very difficult to move patients from one hospital to another. Again she stated that she was going to have the drain removed tomorrow which goes against the conversation that I had with orthopedics who stated that I’m going to be here for the next several days because: One, for the drain to continue doing what it’s supposed to do and two, for the lab results of the infection type.
