I have a fun makeover to share with you all today . . . Along with a brand new color and new wood technique! Say hello to this lovely orange pine coffee table I picked up at my local thrift store. This solid wood table is sturdy and the perfect size–nothing wrong with it except it’s that terrible orange pine! It was the perfect candidate for a makeover, and I knew I wanted to try and take it more in the Farmhouse-Style direction. The overall style of this round pedestal table is still quite pleasing to me, it’s just the orange oak color that has lost its place in today’s farmhouse market design trend. My client wanted an ivory base and dark stain top. Click over to the blog at traceysfancy.com to learn how to paint golden oak furniture and apply my fave dark gel stain: No Pain Gel Stain. This stain has fantastic coverage with a single coat. I'll also show you diy painting the pedestal base with whtie chalk mineral paint.
