Racetrack Higgins is a Manhattan newsboy who curiously prefers to take his business to the Sheepshead Bay Racetrack in Brooklyn. His love of the races earned him his name. Apart from gambling on race horses, Racetrack likes to bet on other odds as he sees them and attempts to place bets with his fellow newsboys.
