“Drowning in a River of Tears” Part 2 In the hush of night, her tears do stream, A river born of broken dreams. Grief’s embrace, a heavy shroud, In silence, she cries out loud. Each tear a story, etched in pain, Flowing in an endless rain. A river of sorrow, deep and wide, In its waters, she cannot hide. Her heart’s lament, a silent plea, In the river, she finds her sea. Grief’s tide pulls her ever near, Drawing her in, year by year.
