Very satisfying peeling off the masking fluid and I really loved building up those details behind the frame. I used a mix of water-based ink and acrylic inks, finished with Stabilo Woodys, Sennelier oil pastels and neocolors! #ArtReels #PaintingProcess #TheyDrawAndGarden #NatureArt #MixedMediaArtist #ColourfulArt #100DaysOfSketchbookPlay" Oil Pastel Watercolor, Oil Pastel On Wood, Watercolor And Oil Pastel, Oil Pastel And Watercolor, Stabilo Woody 3 In 1, Sennelier Oil Pastels, Palm House, Art Demo, Oil Pastel Paintings

I tested out the Pentels and the Sennelier to see how they compare from a beginners view! I’ve just uploaded the full process of this one and a comparison on both (including lots of swatches and tests!) on my YT channel 💛 #ArtExperiments #OilPastels #OilPastelArt #MixedMediaArt #100DaysOfSketchbookPlay #ArtReelsOfInstagram #ArtProcess #ArtProcessVideo #Sennelier #Pentel" Oil Pastel Mixed Media, Oil Pastels For Beginners, Chalk Pastel Art, Sennelier Oil Pastels, Diy Chalk, Pastel Crayons, Oil Pastel Paintings, Trying Something New, Pastel Paintings

Lena Rivo on Instagram: "Cat on a wall. Oil pastel (and pencils) on paper. 9x12 inches. Since the face of this cat was too small to paint completely with oil pastels, I had to use colored pencils for details such as the eyes, the nose, and the ears. The pencils I used were Derwent pastel pencils, which turned out to be a mistake. After finishing this painting, I decided to test how my pastel pencils would react to Sennelier fixative for oil pastels. I drew a cat’s eye with Derwent pastel pencils, then repeated the drawing with my Caran d’Ache Luminance wax-based pencil. The drawing done with pastel pencils darkened significantly when I sprayed it with the fixative, while the eye drawn with the wax-based pencil maintained its original color and value. The conclusion is that, with oil pastel Cat Oil Pastel, Lena Rivo, Sennelier Oil Pastels, Pastel Artwork, Oil Pastel Paintings, Pastel Pencils, Oil Pastels, Realism Art, Realistic Art
