Online reviews are used to make decision by peoples. Opinion mining is vast research area in which different types of reviews are analyzed. Several issues are existing in this area. Domain adaptation is emerging issue in opinion mining. Labling of data for every domain is time consuming and costly task. Hence the need arises for model that train one domain and applied it on other domain reducing cost aswell as time. This is called domain adaptation which is addressed in this paper. Using maximum entropy and clustering technique source domains data is trained. Trained data from source domain is applied on target data to labeling purpose A result shows moderate accuracy for 5 fold cross validation and combination of source domains for Blitzer et al (2007) multi domain product dataset.

Many people have gardens in their homes. Maintenance of these gardens is tedious and time consuming task. The main aim is to implement a cost effective automated gardening system. This system helps in solving the above problem by being efficient and using fewer resources. The system uses low cost efficient soil moisture, light and temperature sensors to decide when and how much water will be provided to the potted plants. Programming languages like embedded C and python is used to configure the microcontroller. The data would be displayed through a GUI created using processing. The user will also be able to control the entire system remotely as well as monitor the sensor readings.

It drives and alters various aspects and aesthetics concerning a place. It affects a commons man's habits, living style, and eating preferences. As the population goes on increasing within an urbanizing area, the resources to adequately maintain the needs of the growing population decreases. Living area, Food and water are utilized tremendously making them the vulnerable resources. Due to scarcity of space and clean water, sustainability of these resources with time will be difficult. People in urban areas desire to have a small garden (e.g. Balcony Garden) as well as want to have healthy and clean food resources. A system which utilizes optimum space in such conditions and can support plants is needed. People in urban area often don't have enough time to take care of the plants; hence the system which is automated (or remotely monitored) can help in promoting the agriculture (e.g. Hydroponics based) in urban areas or living spaces.

Common people also face difficulties to understand the gesture language. In order to minimize these real time issues, an attempt has been made to develop a system which consists of Flex sensors attached with the Data gloves along all fingers. These will be wearable gloves converts hand gestures into an audio output to interpret the expression. This reduces the communication gap that exists between mute and ordinary people. The proposed system plays corresponding recorded voice on an android phone connected to the hardware system via Bluetooth Module as an interpretation of the gesture. It is achieved by integrating flex sensor and 8051 microcontroller. The phone will use a text to speech converter to produce the output of corresponding gesture. This system offers high reliability and fast response as microcontroller works at a speed of 12 MHz. Processing time of microcontroller is much less than the time taken for a human to change from one gesture to another, the system works efficiently in real time scenario hence making the system faster.

The manual microscopic analysis using biopsy slides is considered as a most viable approach but requires substantial amount of time and has observation variation issues among experts especially for smaller types tissue analysis. Available existing imaging modalities especially ultrasound scanner is a common device to analyze various types of tissues and is mainly suitable for larger tissue analysis. Computerized automated approach could be a more viable option as smaller tissues can be analyzed with less effort and in a short period of time with an acceptable accuracy rate. In this paper a complete review has been carried out on existing available approaches and a new modified approach has been presented for type P63 histopathology color images using three different magnifications which indicates improved accuracy rate.

Consequently, this has given rise to the domain adaptation as a prominent area of research in sentiment analysis. A classifier trained from one domain often gives poor results on data from another domain. Expression of sentiment is different in every domain. The labeling cost of each domain separately is very high as well as time consuming. Therefore, this study has proposed an approach that extracts and classifies opinion words from one domain called source domain and predicts opinion words of another domain called target domain using a semi-supervised approach, which combines modified maximum entropy and bipartite graph clustering. A comparison of opinion classification on reviews on four different product domains is presented. The results demonstrate that the proposed method performs relatively well in comparison to the other methods. Comparison of SentiWordNet of domain-specific and domain-independent words reveals that on an average 72.6% and 88.4% words, respectively, are correctly classified.

Rapid advances in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for agricultural applications has provided a plat... more Rapid advances in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) for agricultural applications has provided a platform for better decision making for crop planning and management, particularly in precision agriculture aspects. Due to the ever-increasing spread of WSNs there is a need for standards, i.e. a set of specifications and encodings to bring multiple sensor networks on common platform. Distributed sensor systems when brought together can facilitate better decision making in agricultural domain. The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) through Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) provides guidelines for semantic and syntactic standardization of sensor networks. In this work two distributed sensing systems (Agrisens and FieldServer) were selected to implement OGC SWE standards through a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach. Online interoperable data processing was developed through SWE components such as Sensor Model Language (SensorML) and Sensor Observation Service (SOS). An integrated web client was developed to visualize the sensor observations and measurements that enables the retrieval of crop water resources availability and requirements in a systematic manner for both the sensing devices. Further, the client has also the ability to operate in an interoperable manner with any other OGC standardized WSN systems. The study of WSN systems has shown that there is need to augment the operations / processing capabilities of SOS in order to understand about collected sensor data and implement the modelling services. Also, the very low cost availability of WSN systems in future, it is possible to implement the OGC standardized SWE framework for agricultural applications with open source software tools.

As days more and more agricultural data are virtually being harvested along with the crops and are being collected/stored in databases, the same data can be used in productive decision making if appropriate data mining techniques are developed/applied. An experiment was conducted with four consecutive (Kharif and Rabi) agricultural seasons in a semi-arid region of India to understand the crop-weather-environment-pest/diseases relations using wireless sensory and field-level surveillance data on closely related and interdependent pest/disease dynamics of groundnut crop. Association rule mining and multivariate regression mining techniques/algorithms were designed/ developed/tailor-made to turn the data into useful information/ knowledge/relations/trends to know crop-weather-environment-pest/disease continuum. These findings have been used for development of prediction models (cumulative and non-cumulative) followed by a web based pest/disease decision support system, which will help the decision makers to take viable ameliorative measures.

The recent spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and its associated coronavir... more The recent spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and its associated coronavirus disease has caused extensive public health concerns. University campuses are at higher risks since a lot of students are present inside the campus at a given point of time. Places where there are a lot of chances of spread of the infection in the campus include the entrance gate, canteen, library, photocopy center, seminar hall, etc. Strict actions must be taken against the violations of the covid-19 protocols which will ensure health safety and maintain hygiene in the campus. Doing this manually will be a tedious task. Owing to this problem, an attempt has been made to design a system to tackle the problem of following all the protocols and making everyone aware about the situation in the campus. This work proposes a system which will continuously monitor all these activities with the help of Computer Vision and Deep Learning. The collected CCTV cameras data has been checked in the real time mode using various object detection and object tracking models to identify and track the objects visible in the frame. This approach uses MobileNet and SSD Architecture along with the objection detection models to predict the desired output. Finally, based on the output the system checks for any violations and if encountered then it sends a text alert to the concerned authority.

Card information hacking has caused money losses around the world, therefore it is imperative for financial institutions to get rid of such losses. Currently, the number of mobile payment schemes have been purposed but primarily the schemes aim attention at transaction security, fraud detection and prevention, not on data at rest encryption in mobile payments. Therefore, this work aims attention to encrypt sensitive static data residing at database server in mobile payments. Data at rest is the static data i.e., card details of the users which resides at the server. It is essential to ensure that the sensitive data of the payment users stay protected so as to prevent the adversaries looking for unauthorized access to the data. The encryption of data at rest is accomplished at the database level in this work. Cryptography is increasingly bei...

Users are constantly exposed to an ever-growing flood of information. A wrapper is an application which helps in searching for Search Results Records (SSR) from multiple search engines. This helps in making the search more efficient and reliable. VEDD wrapper extracts the relevant SRRs from three search engines by filtering out the noisy and redundant records. Finally the unique set of records is displayed in a common VEDD search result page. The extraction is performed using the concepts of Document Object Model (DOM) tree. The paper presents a series of data filters to detect and remove irrelevant data from the web page. The data filters will also be used to further improve the similarity check of data records. Also, visual cues from the underlying browser rendering engine is made use to locate and extract the relevant data region from the deep web by the keyword matching technique.
