Among 100 remote workers in different departments in a company in Pasay City selected in this stu... more Among 100 remote workers in different departments in a company in Pasay City selected in this study, this study examined the relationship between their affective states, work-life balance, and interpersonal support. A descriptivecorrelational study approach was used by the researcher. The Work-Related Quality of Life Scale, Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale, and Interpersonal Support and Evaluation List were the instruments employed. The results indicate that remote workers experience high levels of job and career satisfaction, which indicates their work-life balance. The remaining dimensions of work-life balance, including control at work, working conditions, tension, and general well-being, are balanced. In general, they also have high levels of interpersonal support in their line of work and can experience normal levels of stress and melancholy but with mild anxiety. Additionally, there is a negligible correlation between their work-life balance and interpersonal support, a substantial correlation between their worklife balance and emotional states, and a substantial correlation between their interpersonal support and emotional states. Pearson Product Moment Correlation (r) was employed to evaluate the hypothesis by examining the correlation between their affective states, interpersonal support, and work-life balance. It can be concluded that the respondents' current work-from-home arrangement has been advantageous to them, as they have realized that what can be accomplished in a face-to-face setting can be accomplished remotely. Similarly, it is advantageous to their emotional state, interpersonal relationships, and overall health. Additionally, the remote setup offered them emotional support, facilitating positive emotions development. The contentment they felt regarding their jobs and professions was also a result of the flexible schedule that was incorporated into their setup.

This study aimed to see if there was a correlation and differences between the commitment and sat... more This study aimed to see if there was a correlation and differences between the commitment and satisfaction of Psychology Society Officers and Psychology Professors. The respondents' demographic profiles are age, sex, and job title. For the 2019-2022 school year, this research analyzed the responses to a survey of six psychology professors and twenty-one Psychology Society Officers of the Psychological Society using a correlational-comparative methodology. Based on the findings, commitment has a significant relationship to the satisfaction of the Psychology Society Officers with Pearson r 0.67 and a p-value of 0.000. The analysis revealed that commitment has no significant relationship to the satisfaction of the Psychology Professors with Pearson r 0.18 and p-value of 0.

The COVID-19 pandemic stimulated the appreciation of the importance of Mental Health in the Phili... more The COVID-19 pandemic stimulated the appreciation of the importance of Mental Health in the Philippines, which urged the researchers to conduct this study. This research aims to measure the mental health status of student leaders from two (2) universities in the country and to design an intervention program based on the findings. Twenty-one (21) Psychology student leaders from Emilio Aguinaldo College-Manila, and National University-Laguna participated in this study. The Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) was used as the instrument for assessing the mental health status of the respondents. The result shows that the participants are flourishing in Emotional Wellbeing (M=4.45), and Psychological Well-being (M=4.56), while Moderately Mentally Healthy in Social well-being (M=4.36). The researchers also found that 9.5% of the participants have languishing mental health, 19% are moderately mentally healthy, and 71.4% have flourishing mental health. The findings also revealed that there is no significant relationship (r-value 0.003, p-value 0.99) and no significant difference (t-value 1.302, p-value 0.234) between the mental health status of the participants from the two universities, implying that regardless of their university affiliation their mental health status is indistinguishable and similar. Based on the results, the enhancement program entitled "Mental Health and Leadership During Pandemic" was designed and implemented virtually.

The necessity of having community pantries in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic has be... more The necessity of having community pantries in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic has been a cause of political, social, and public health controversy with issues ranging from the government inaction and inadequacy of governmental response in the pandemic. Utilizing the theoretical lens of positioning theory qualitative design, specifically content analysis, aimed to investigate how the public online community builds meaning of the community pantry through SocMed posts, online news comments, editorial/opinion articles from a 20000-word corpus, and 321 words analyzed. Results revealed that the most prevalent discourse on SocMed users positioned the community pantries as a positive response to mitigate the COVID-19 Pandemic, especially among the most vulnerable communities. Most of the corpus from online and editorial/opinion articles shed light that the community pantry sees as social responsibilities parley than vested propaganda. However, discourses from the digital space on pantry organizers underwent red-tagging by government forces and were bombarded with death threats. Propositioned that the netizens from the digital platforms, the government is incapable of addressing the needs of the impoverished sector during the pandemic in which community pantries continue to emerge. To this effect, the community pantries draw a complementary opposite force on cyberspace, some negative comments were directly associated with the community pantries to rebellion and anti-government propaganda. However, the community pantries are not meant to take the place of the government role or to meet citizens' long-term needs.

The aim of this study was to see if there was a correlation between the selected individuals' Qua... more The aim of this study was to see if there was a correlation between the selected individuals' Quality of Life and their Demographic Profile (Age, Sex, Year Level, and Family Socio Economic Status), as well as their mental health (Anxiety, Stress, and Depression). This study employed a correlational approach to analyze the answers of 143 psychology students from a particular institution in Metro Manila. According to the results of the Mental Health of the Participants survey, the majority of the participants reported really severe anxiety symptoms as a result of the pandemic. Furthermore, the individuals are under a great deal of stress, and the majority of them, according to the DASS-21, exhibit quite severe depression symptoms. The quality of life and mental health of the participants are highly connected with their age, gender, year level, and family socioeconomic situation. There is a significant low positive correlation between mental health sub-variables such as anxiety, stress, and depression and overall quality of life. Anxiety, stress, and depression all have an impact on one's quality of life, according to the findings.
