The PTS has been operating for more than 10 years and it has Natural Gas (NG) and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) transportation pipelines. The NG pipeline is 888km long which includes two Loops (105km and 18km in the coast and mountain sectors, respectively). NGL pipeline is 557km long. From the beginning (0 km) to 210 km, the Right of Way (RoW) is located in the geotechnical context of the Amazon rainforest. Then, between km 210 and km 420, the PTS crosses the mountain chain of the Andes. Finally, between km 420 and Km 730 the RoW is located on the Peruvian Pacific coast. TGP’s operation of the PTS identifies, analyzes and controls the different types of threats that can affect the integrity of the pipelines. The operatio...

Given the proximal influence of family factors during the developmental stage of adolescence, parenting interventions may be an effective way to promote healthy nutrition and substance use prevention simultaneously. This article describes the design and theoretical rationale of a study assessing the effects of Families Preparing the New Generation Plus (FPNG Plus), a 10week culturally-tailored nutrition and substance use prevention parenting program, on diet and substance use outcomes among Latinx middle school students (6 th-8 th grade). The 3-arm cluster randomized controlled trial compares FPNG Plus (substance use prevention and healthy nutrition), FPNG (substance use prevention only), and a comparison condition (focusing on academic success) in 1,494 parent-child dyads from 18 schools, randomized at the school level. Adolescents and parents will complete surveys pre-and post-intervention, and 16-weeks after program participation, regarding diet behaviors, substance use, and parenting practices. A random subsample of 126 dyads (42 from each program), will participate in additional data collection to assess the home food environment, detailed dietary intake (via two 24-h recalls), and provide

Without adequate inventories, the business cannot be run effectively. Moreover, for manufacturing corporations, which main business is producing products by assembling parts; inventories have the biggest role in producing the product. Without adequate inventory, a product cannot be made because the parts are not enough. Restaurant is known as a mini-scale of manufacturing corporations. If something affect to the inventories (e.g. ingredients), the product sales will also be affected. Therefore, restaurant must control the inventory input and output transaction tightly. For a middle-up and higher level restaurants, controlling the inventory manually will be quite a troublesome. It is because there are more varies of menu which also need more varies inventories. All of the inventories should then be controlled to ensure that they can support the menu when needed. The thesis then will study major problems experienced by a middle-up restaurant. H.E.M.A. is chosen to the deep research subject. In the end, the thesis will propose a computerised system which is predicted to be able to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in controlling the inventory. A trial testing of the proposed system will also be conducted to test the available features.

A pH independent, patient compliant, dual working gastroretentive drug delivery system of model drug quetiapine fumarate (QF) was fabricated by unique combination approach of mucoadhesion and floating. Bilayer tablets comprising floating adhesive layer (FL) and matrix layer (ML) was systematically optimized by applying 3 2 full factorial experimental designs. Selected variables for FL: Polyox Ò 303WSR (X1 FL) and alginate beads (X2 FL), and for ML: HPMC K100M (X1 ML) and fumaric acid (X2 ML) were studied against responses for FL: floating lag time (R1 FL), total floating time (R2 FL) and adhesion force (R3 FL) and for ML: percentage drug released at 2 h-Q 2h (R1 ML), 8 h-Q 8h (R2 ML), and 18 h-Q 18h (R3 ML), respectively. Optimized batch (OP) showed floating lag time (6.5 h), total floating time (14 h), adhesion force (0.82 N) and Q 18h ([90 %). Pharmacokinetic study of OP and immediate release market product demonstrated improved bioavailability (*12 % higher AUC 0-?) of OP. In a nutshell, developed drug delivery system can be fabricated as a platform for QF and similar BCS class-II drugs with pH dependent solubility.
