This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's degree in Managemen... more This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Professional Master's degree in Management and Evaluation of Public Education (PPGP) of the Public Policies Center and Education Evaluation of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/ UFJF). The management case analyzes the trajectory of the implementation of process management at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). and, specifically, the role of the Processes Office in the dissemination and adoption of this new management philosophy. This research has the question: How is the Office of Processes inserted in a context of improvement and modernization of management at UFJF ?. Thus, this study has the general objective of analyzing the changes in the institution's management with the implementation of BPM (Business Process Management). The specific objectives are: i) to describe management by processes at UFJF; ii) analyze the performance of the Processes Office in the institution and iii) propose an action plan that describes the possible improvements in the work of the Processes Office. Management. The methodology used for the research has a qualitative approach and applied nature of a case study. To this end, documentary research and bibliographic research were used as instruments.
