Tobacco, alcohol, and betel nut use are responsible for more than 95% of all mouth cancer cases (BQ). In Western nations, smoking and alcohol consumption are the two biggest risk factors, but in Asian nations, smoking and BQ usage are the two most risk factors. It is alarming how frequently people with advanced oral cancer arrive. The best method for minimising personal illness burden, lowering morbidity and mortality, and enhancing quality of life. The detection, evaluation, and treatment of oral cancer remain challenges for the dental profession. In the proposed approach, deep learning algorithm has been used to simulate the development of cancer diagnosis and therapy, and they are successful in predicting future outcomes of a cancer. For the best outcomes in the detection and diagnosis of oral cancer, an effective deep learning and feature selection approach utilising Alex net model has been applied.Overall, 500 images with different resolution were used in our system. Out of these images, data set consists of 125 histopathological images with the normal epithelium of the oral cavity and 375 images of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC). Our proposed model is able to predict the oral cancer with 96.60 % accuracy. Our model has been tested using different statistical 8430 parameters like F1-score, Precision and Recall for the purpose of validation.

Forecasts using mathematical-epidemiological models have played and continue to play an important role in assessing the probability of COVID-19 infection under specific conditions and are urgently needed to prepare health systems for coping with this pandemic. In many instances, however, access to dedicated and updated information, in particular at regional administrative levels, is surprisingly scarce considering its evident importance and provides a hindrance for the implementation of sustainable coping strategies. Here we demonstrate the performance of an easily transferable statistical model based on the classic Holt-Winters method as means of providing COVID-19 forecasts for India at different administrative levels. Based on daily time series of accumulated infections, active infections and deaths, we use our statistical model to provide 48-days forecasts (28 September to 15 November 2020) of these quantities in India, assuming little or no change in national coping strategies. Using these results alongside a complementary SIR model, we find that one-third of the Indian population could eventually be infected by COVID-19, and that a complete recovery from COVID-19 will happen only after an estimated 450 days from January 2020. Further, our SIR model suggests that the pandemic is likely to peak in India during the first week of November 2020.

Retrospective review of our experience based on case note review, carried out in a district general hospital setting during a period of two years. 142 patients who had undergone tonsillectomy and biosy were included in the study. Histological studies of all these patients obtained and correlated with the clinical findings. None of the patients with asymmetric enlargement of tonsils but are otherwise asymptomatic had shown histological evidence of malignancy. However all the 3 patients with associated suspicious symptoms in the presence of asymmetric tonsils were diagnosed as having tonsillar malignancy. Tonsillar asymmetry in the absence of other associated risk factors may not indicate malignancy and a period of watchful waiting is considered appropriate prior to any surgical intervention.

Eight fair weather days in different seasons (winter, pre-monsoon, monsoon, and post-monsoon) are chosen. Sensitivity experiments are conducted with two non-local [Yonsei University (YSU), Asymmetric Convective Model version 2 (ACM2)] and three local turbulence kinetic energy (TKE) closure [Mellor- Yamada Nakanishi and Niino Level 2.5 PBL (MYNN2), Mellor-Yamada-Janjic (MYJ), and quasi-normal scale elimination (QNSE)] PBL parameterisations to study the evolution of PBL parameters and thermodynamic structure. Simulated parameters are validated with available in situ meteorological observations at three stations in the study region. Results indicate that the low-level flow field is highly influenced by the topography and widely varies in different seasons. Simulated vertical PBL structure varied across seasons with shallow boundary layers (1 to 1.7 km) during winter, monsoon and postmonsoon seasons, deep mixed layers (2 to 2.7 km) in pre-monsoon season. Simulations in various seasons revealed that ACM2 followed by MYNN2 and YSU reproduced various PBL features such as topographic flows, surface layer fluxes, meteorological variables and the thermo-dynamical structure reasonably well indicating the suitability of the above PBL schemes for air quality simulations over the region. This is corroborated with the error statistics as well. Simulations with FLEXPART using ARW derived meteorology revealed higher dilution potential of the atmosphere in monsoon and premonsoon compared to post monsoon and winter seasons over the region. Results also indicate the ACM2, MYNN2 and YSU produce relatively larger dispersion than the QNSE and MYJ.

The process of contract farming involves cultivating and harvesting of a crop on behalf of big business establishments (corporate), Government agencies or some other entity and forwarding the produce to other contracting body at a pre-determined price. In return, the contracted farmers get assurance of a fixed price which is generally higher than the market price. The role of contract farming in Indian rural economy is becoming more and more important, as the organized farming is catching up consistently (http://business.mapsofindia.com/rural-economy/contract-farming.html). In order to exercise better control over supply chain logistics corporate- houses are showing increasing interest in contact farming operations in India.

Reflectance spectra and thin films heights are measured using spectrophotometer and stylus surface profiler, respectively. Measured optical data is used for investigating the effect of the ZnO prepared by above two processes on the performance of Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films solar cell (TFSC). One dimensional simulation approach is considered using the simulation program, SCAPS. External quantum efficiency and J-V characteristics of CZTS TFSC is simulated on the basis of optical reflectance data of ZnO films with and without ZnO thin-films as antireflection coating (ARC). Study shows that ARC coated CZTS TFSC provides a better fill factor (FF) as compared to other ARC material such as MgF2. Sprayed ZnO thin-films as ARC show comparable performance with the sputtered samples.

A 21-year-old man with antipsychotic treatment for the past 10 years presented with a long electric cable wire in his bladder with the distal end in the penile urethra. He presented with symptoms of voiding difficulty and gross haematuria. An attempt of gentle retrieval of wire through the cystoscopic forceps was not successful due to a very complex knot of cable in the bladder. To avoid open surgery such as suprapubic cystotomy, the percutaneous minimally invasive approach was planned. Access to the bladder was achieved by the suprapubic puncture of the bladder, placement of a guide-wire and serial dilation of suprapubic tract. With the help of nephroscope, through suprapubic tract, the cable wire was retrieved antegradely without causing undue trauma to the bladder or urethra.

Vascular anatomy of the antro-pyloro-duodenal area is critical in preventing complications and increasing pyloric graft survival. This study was undertaken to examine the vascular anatomy of antro-pyloro-duodenal area in an attempt to safeguard the graft blood supply and improve its survival. After obtaining preoperative CT angiography to delineate the infrapyloric artery (IP a.), bench dissection of resected pancreaticoduodenectomy specimens was performed in 12 patients. Ex vivo angiography of these specimens were also performed. Subsequent to the information obtained from these dissections, the method of antropylorus mobilization during transposition was modified in terms of the site of division of the right gastroepiploic a. (Rt GEA). Perioperative outcomes (graft related complications, fecal incontinence scores, Doppler flow studies, and manometry studies of the graft) were compared between the two groups. IP a. originated only from the Rt GEA in 8 cases (66 %) and from both the gastroduodenal a. and the Rt GEA in the rest. However, its origin solely from the gastroduodenal a. was not observed. The pyloric graft survival, pyloric valve pressures and Doppler flow velocities were significantly…

The binding behavior of this chemosensor has been studied toward different metal ions by fluorescence spectroscopy, and it was observed that the chemosensor selectively senses Cu(2+) ions. The chemical inputs of Cu(2+) and F(-) in a sequential manner generate an output which mimics the functions of a security keypad lock.
