Because of the fact that this transition was in 2001, 2001 year was regarded as year of start. The reasons for the transition have been to increase the farmer registration system, subsidize the agricultural sector, and sustain the importance of the agriculture for economy. In the study, 2001-2016 period were examined, and it was observed that there were important developments in rural in 16 years. These were decrease of the agricultural areas, decline of the field farming, too much migration mobility from rural towards urban, and significantly diminishing of the rural population and the number of agricultural enterprises. Because agricultural lands were not sufficiently utilized, some crops' production potential dropped off. Even if animal products' production increased, that was not enough to satisfy the domestic demand and to export. Thus, it was determined that most of agricultural products was imported. By regression analysis, agricultural area size was estimated and it was seen that decrease of the agricultural areas could continue in the following years. In the study, some constructive proposals were also brought forward regarding improvement the agriculture and the rurals.

Both primary data and secondary data were used in the research. The data obtained via the surveys from farms in four districts of Yozgat province were used as primary data and Turkey Statistical Institute (TSI), the data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and related organizations as secondary data. According to the research findings, in the examined period it was determined that there was a loss in rural resources both in Turkey and in the research area. In Turkey, the total cultivatable agricultural area decreased by 12.3%, the number of rural population 74.8%, and the number of agricultural enterprises 19.5%. These rates were respectively calculated as 25.4%, 60.3%, and 18.4% for Yozgat province. In the study, whether the correlation of not use rationally the farmland with the high input prices was statistically significant according to the farmland sizes was tested with Chi-square. The average farmland size of Turkey was found as 111 decares, and that of the research area as 130.83 decares, and effective proposals on rural resource use problems were also submitted.

In maintaining the quality value of hazelnut, the classification process is of great importance. In the present day, the quality classification of hazelnuts and other crops is performed in general manually, and so it is difficult and costly. Performing this classification with modern agricultural techniques is much more important in terms of quality. This study was based on a model intended to detect hazelnut quality. The model is about the establishment of an artificial intelligence-based classification system that can detect the hidden defects of hazelnuts. In the developed model, the visuals used in the dataset are divided into training and test groups. In the model, hazelnuts are divided into 5 classes according to their quality using AlexNet architecture and modern deep learning (DL) techniques instead of traditional hazelnut classification methods. In this model developed based on artificial intelligence, a very g...

In order to reach the aim, Kayseri, Sivas and Yozgat provinces in the TR72-Development Agency Region of Turkey were chosen as the research area. Data obtained via survey from the chambers of agriculture in the region constitute the main material of the research. Survey data belonged to 2017. According to research findings, the chambers of agriculture were determined that they played a part significantly in rural development: They had took on a task significantly in formation of the agricultural product prices, balancing of the input prices in the market, registration of the farmers and recording of the farming files. They performed belower price than market price the agricultural services such as fertilizer distribution, disinfection, cleaning of the fields, input sales. Furthermore, they carried out free some activities such as construction of the village roads, op...

The main material of this study consisted of surveys conducted to combine harvester owners determined via a systematic sampling method in the region, and secondary data. In sampling, the sample size was determined as 62. According to the research findings, the annual total income regarding combine harvester use was calculated as 18 416 USD and the annual total cost as 14 703 USD. The annual net profit was 3 713 USD and the annual profitability was 7.45%. Even though the annual profitability was lower than other investment vehicles, it was all right in an economic sense. In the region, It was seen that combine harvester use has taken shape as "a combine harvester management system". It was determined that combine harvester managers/owners have also harvested in the other regions to use combine harvester capacity. The ...

We point out that the current definition of χp retains some, but not all, variations taking place on the precession timescale. We rectify this inconsistency and propose more general definitions that either fully consider or fully average those oscillations. Our generalized parameter χp ∈ [0, 2] presents an exclusive region χp > 1 that can only be populated by binaries with two precessing spins. We apply our prescriptions to current LIGO/Virgo events and find that posterior distributions of χp tend to show longer tails at larger values. This appears to be a generic feature, implying that (i) current χp measurement errors might be underestimated, but also that (ii) evidence for spin precession in current data might be stronger than previously inferred. Among the gravitational-wave events released to date, that which shows the most striking behavior is GW190521.
