Increasingly, patients and doctors are using modern technological infrastructure to deliver care services. This study focuses on the intrinsic factors that lead to provider adoption of mHealth. The study uses PLS-SEM and neural networks to build on UTAUT theory. Study collects data from 316 care providers practicing in government and private health canters, hospitals and clinic found that intrinsic factors like self-efficacy, personal innovativeness, and performance expectancy positively related to mHealth adoption by physicians, whereas technology anxiety negatively related to adoption behaviour. Effort expectancy is not significant, indicating that m-Health adoption is driven by usefulness and result rather than convenience. If the expertise is not easily available, the physician's best interest for the patient may often drive...

The quest for a healthy lifestyle has increased the popularity of wearable activity devices (WAD)... more The quest for a healthy lifestyle has increased the popularity of wearable activity devices (WAD) among the masses. However, despite the numerous benefits of WAD, most people (50 percent) stop using it within two weeks of their usage. This presents a concern that needs to be addressed to promote WAD usage for healthy living. This current study attempts to understand the factors affecting the continued usage intention of WAD among users. So, to understand the drivers of continued usage, a sample population with continuous usage of WAD for more than six months is considered for the study. The proposed framework includes the factors: selfquantification, gamification, feedback, and commitment. Structural equation modeling is conducted to establish the model validity and predictability. Results indicate that the model satisfies all the model fit-indices and is adequate to predict the continued usage intention of WAD users.

The focus has shifted from managing procurement to managing relationships. This study conceptualizes supply chain collaboration (SCC) and its components in the context of healthcare service sector (hospital supply chain). The theoretical base of this paper lies in the relational view and the service dominant logic theory. Using a service dominant logic (SDL) lens, the study aims at establishing SCC as an antecedent to value co-creation (VCC); where VCC acts as a mediator in the relationship between SCC with firm performance. The study also aims at introducing the conceptual construct of relationship complexity level and attempts at investigating its influence on the framework relationships. The study by establishing parallels between the relational view and the SD logic view rationally converges to show that collaboration is the final prescribed outcome. The study logically puts forth a set of propositions that offers an enticing scope of further empirical investigation through testable hypotheses.

The paper explores the nexus between Indian GDP, Railway freight, inflation and population density, with a view of understanding the causality relationship in the backdrop of Indian economic growth over a period of fifty years (1960–2009) using cointegration and Granger causality test. Detection of stationarity in the series was carried out using the Augmented Dickey-Fuller test (ADF) and Phillips-Perron(PP) Unit root test and stationarity outcomes indicated GDP & Inflation data to be stationary and Population density & Railway Freight to be non stationary at 5% level of significance. The paper reveals unidirectional causality from GDP to Population density and also from GDP to railway freight, whereas bidirectional causality is found to exist between railway freight and population-density. Thus, these test finding...

Increasing awareness about the eco-friendly aspects of business and organizations has necessitated the imbibition of added connotations, referred to as green initiatives, to the existing definitional form of SCM. This new concept called Green SCM or GSCM throws light on the eco-friendly sustainability aspects of SCM operations and logistics on one hand and speaks about the reduced environmental footprints left behind by human activities on the other. This paper tries to portray the gradual development and a shifting trend towards imbibing green initiatives in the operational practices of organizations, so as to conform to the need of the hour and move towards a sustainable and eco-friendly business environment. This exhaustive review aims at recording and documenting the development and chronological evolution...
