ABSTRACT A correlation method is advanced for determining the crystallization mechanism and activ... more ABSTRACT A correlation method is advanced for determining the crystallization mechanism and activation energy of amorphous alloys by investigating the crystallization rate of amorphous Zr70Cu30 alloy under high pressure. The results show that this method is much closer to phase transformation reality than the Kissinger method. In principle, this method also should be applicable to kinetics of common solid-state phase transformation.

A design based on this configuration is constructed and its measured lOdB return loss bandwidth is from 121 MHz to 1520 MHz and the monopole is of a height Xlf/10. This proposed antenna is firstly simulated using Ansoft's high frequency structure simulator (HFSS).

The amplification of the input signal as well as the mode of propagation has been examined. A gain of 15 dB at 4.75GHz is observed for a beam current of 32 mA.
