Husbands and wives in Islam are closely related partners without hierarchy or subordination in the fulfillment of their rights and obligations, as stipulated in the Qur'an and Al-Hadis. In the context of this paper, we will explain the relevance of the Qur'anic verses on the rights and obligations of husband and wife with the hadiths that also emphasize the same and with the provisions of civil law related to marriage in Indonesia regulated by Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage (UUP) and also the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) which regulates aspects of marriage for Muslims. The KUHPer itself is more likely to regulate general civil matters in Indonesia. With this analysis, I hope to be able to menyus.
