O mundo contemporâneo exige uma educacao que dissolva fronteiras entre os saberes e trabalhe a in... more O mundo contemporâneo exige uma educacao que dissolva fronteiras entre os saberes e trabalhe a interdisciplinaridade e o multiculturalismo em uma perspectiva multilinguistica. Dessa forma, o aprendizado de lingua inglesa passa a ter importância para o acesso dos estudantes a diferentes culturas. O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi propor uma atividade de ensino-aprendizagem ativa com tema de ciencias e saude para as aulas de ciencias em Lingua Inglesa do Ensino Medio. A atividade por investigacao proposta em uma turma de EM de um colegio publico durante o desenvolvimento do estagio curricular mostrou que os alunos estao envolvidos com a leitura e com a interpretacao, assim como, com a producao de textos em Lingua Inglesa, competencias e habilidades que devem ser desenvolvidas para a aquisicao de segunda lingua.
