In this paper I explore how the specific dynamic capability in today’s organizations – organizational creativity – provides the cause to reconsider assumptions surrounding this multidimensional concept from a multilevel point of view. To this end, I synthesize research on creativity in organizations and theorize connections between creative novelty-creative usefulness, and organization effectiveness across individual, team, and organization level, rooting my arguments in the claim that bottom-up and top-down processes shape key creativity-related aspects of effectiveness. Collectively, my arguments expand and, in some respects, challenge the theory on organizational creativity and open a new windows into the study of creativity in organizations.

A 12-item validated structured questionnaire served as the research instrument to 125 staff and customers of the deposit money banks in Asaba, Delta State. It was found that there is a strong relationship between Resource availability, Research and development and firm strategic group in the banking sector. Out of the 130 sets of a questionnaire administered, a total number of 125 (96.2%) were retrieved and 5 were rejected. The major analytical tools used were correlation and multiple regression analysis. The researcher, therefore, concluded that Resource availability positively affects the firm strategic group of selected deposit money banks. Bringing together expertise and capabilities from various organizations improves the performance of a product. Combining financial resources and strategic alliances help in improving the performance of a product. The strategic resources, however, which are generally intangible, are neither easily identifiable nor rapidly developed. Hence, the researcher recommends that there is need for the management of banks to enhance their Resource availability as this will lead to organization performance.

This study establishes the influence of contingency factors on Learning Organization. The sub-variables here were Organizational structure, information Technology, dynamic Capabilities, leadership characteristics, the legal and regulatory environment was discussed. The remaining contingency factors comprising of the environment, Organizational size, strategy, technology, and corporate culture also significantly impact on learning Organizations. The study used the Phenomenological Approach to research. Based on these findings, which revealed a various situational approach to issues, the study concluded that learning organizations should understand that, there is no one best method of organising, rather the best organizational structure is contingent on several contingency factors such as the complexity of the environment, the strategic positioning of the firm, or the technology among others. The study also recommended that learning organizations should put in place better organizational structural strategies, improved information technology and put in place strategies that encourage their leaders to have leadership characteristics and capabilities towards better performance.

Methodologically, the study adopted a comprehensive synthesis of literature of extant research on FWAs alongside theories, conceptual formulations and empirical findings in providing answers to the research objectives/questions. Findings revealed that three out of the four measures of FWAs used in the study are positively related to employee performance while Compressed Work week relationship with the dependent variable is both positive and negative. The study examined how organisational democracy influenced employees work habit, the measures for organisational democracy adopted in the study are employee consultation, employee participation and delegation and how they affect employees work habit. The opinions of the respondents were elicited with the aid of 5-likert scale structured question. A total of one hundred and three (103) copies of questionnaire were administered to staff of the selected organisations, Out of the one hundred and three (103) copies of questionnaire, ninety-seven (97)94.17% where retrieved and properly filled while five (5)4.54% were not returned. Thus, the total of ninety-seven (97) returned were used for the study. The hypotheses of the study were tested using the Pearson correlation coefficient statistical tool with the aid of SPSS version 23. The result of the test showed that employee consultation, employee participation and delegation have a significant impact on employees work habit. The study recommended that management should encourage their employees to contribute to decision making and incorporate their views in the organisational policy. In addition, managers should be to allow increasing their level of participation in decision making since they are in the centre of operations and can contribute in work related issues and participative management should be redefined and properly applied so that people's understanding and perception will be improved.

The results showed that resource scheduling (p=0.044< 0.05), resource planning (p=0.043< 0.05) and organizational skill (p=0.015< 0.05) had positive and significant effect on project management effectiveness. The study concluded that project optimization is a necessary tool for an increased project management effectiveness, this is because projects have specialized set of critical success factors which, if addressed would improve the likelihood of successful implementation. The study recommended among others that, training and retraining of project managers and chief executives of firms should be on a continuous basis to enable them acquire the basic skills, knowledge, competence, capabilities and experiences required for efficient and successful project management ventures.

The study concluded that the communication of the health messages of a product will contribute significantly to the productivity of the organization. Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs) plays a key role in addressing the realities of today's workpla... more Flexible Work Arrangements (FWAs) plays a key role in addressing the realities of today's workplace, society and economy .In line with this reasoning, this study examined the relationship between measures of Flexible Work Arrangements (i.e. telecommuting, flextime, job sharing and compressed workweek) and employee performance. Methodologically, the study adopted a comprehensive synthesis of literature of extant research on FWAs alongside theories, conceptual formulations and empirical findings in providing answers to the research objectives/questions. Findings revealed that three out of the four measures of FWAs used in the study are positively related to employee performance while Compressed Work week relationship with the dependent variable is both positive and negative. It was concluded amongst others, that and business leaders who grant employees greater freedom in choosing their start and end times for their work duties not only get superior performance from these employees but often meet business demands from clients, Job sharing not only permits the sharing of work obligations but also the sharing of broad range of skills and idea. The paper recommended that there should be a fit between the job and the candidate for higher levels of employee productivity to be recorded in telecommuting initiatives, also For flextime to produce the significant results, employers and decision makers should make sure that the times chosen by individual employees is when they are most productive and it should be evidence based derived from analysis of previous work output.
The study examined the relationship between organisational democracy and employees work habit in ... more The study examined the relationship between organisational democracy and employees work habit in Delta State Civil Service, but targeting staff of Delta State chambers of commerce and Delta State Ministry of Works in Asaba, Delta State, The sampling object of the study is the Staff of Delta State chambers of commerce and Delta State Ministry of Works in Asaba,. The study examined how organisational democracy influenced employees work habit, the measures for organisational democracy adopted in the study are employee consultation, employee participation and delegation and how they affect employees work habit. The opinions of the respondents were elicited with the aid of 5-likert scale structured question. A total of one hundred and three (103) copies of questionnaire were administered to staff of the selected organisations, Out of the one hundred and three (103) copies of questionnaire, ninety-seven (97)94.17% where retrieved and properly filled while five (5)4.54% were not returned. Thus, the total of ninety-seven (97) returned were used for the study. The hypotheses of the study were tested using the Pearson correlation coefficient statistical tool with the aid of SPSS version 23. The result of the test showed that employee consultation, employee participation and delegation have a significant impact on employees work habit. The study recommended that management should encourage their employees to contribute to decision making and incorporate their views in the organisational policy. In addition, managers should be to allow increasing their level of participation in decision making since they are in the centre of operations and can contribute in work related issues and participative management should be redefined and properly applied so that people's understanding and perception will be improved.

The study assessed the impact of resource optimization on project management effectiveness. The study had a population of 87 Managers, from this population, a sample size of 71 managers were derived using Taro Yemani's formular, data for the study were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed and hypotheses tested using Linear Regression. The results showed that resource scheduling (p=0.044< 0.05), resource planning (p=0.043< 0.05) and organizational skill (p=0.015< 0.05) had positive and significant effect on project management effectiveness. The study concluded that project optimization is a necessary tool for an increased project management effectiveness, this is because projects have specialized set of critical success factors which, if addressed would improve the likelihood of successful implementation. The study recommended among others that, training and retraining of project managers and chief executives of firms should be on a continuous basis to enable them acquire the basic skills, knowledge, competence, capabilities and experiences required for efficient and successful project management ventures.

The study concluded that the communication of the health messages of a product will contribute significantly to the productivity of the organization.
