Their longest winning streak of the season came between July 19 and 28 when they defeated the Chicago White Stockings, St. Louis Browns, and Detroit Tigers until succumbing on the 29th to the Tigers. Their longest losing streak was between July 12 and 18, when they fell to the Philadelphia Athletics and Cleveland Blues, until defeating the Chicago White Stockings on July 19.
