ANZ National Stadium
The ANZ National Stadium (known as ANZ Stadium)[1] is a multi-purpose stadium in Suva, Fiji. It was constructed in 1979 for the 6th South Pacific Games.[2] In 2012 the stadium underwent an extensive FJD$17.5 million renovation [3] and reopened in March 2013. The first game was between the Fiji national rugby union team and the Classic All Blacks, with Fiji winning 33–14.
It is currently used mostly for rugby league, rugby union and football matches. The stadium has undercover seating for 4000 people and an embankment that can cater for an additional 15,000.[4]
