Amphisbaena mitchelli is a worm lizard species in the genus Amphisbaena. It is endemic to South America.
Etymology
The specific name, mitchelli, is in honor of British zoologist Peter Chalmers Mitchell.
Geographic range
It is found in Brazil, in the states of Maranhão and Pará.[1]
