Andrew "Andy" Andy Fleming (23 April 1916 – 27 March 2011) was an Irish hurler who played as a right corner-back for the Waterford senior team.
Born in Belmont, County Offaly, Fleming first excelled at hurling during his schooling at Mount Sion CBS. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-three when he first linked up with the Waterford senior team. He made his debut during the 1939 championship. Fleming immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won one All-Ireland medal and one Munster medal.[1]
As a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, Fleming won seven Railway Cup medals. At club level he played Gaelic football with Stradbally and hurling with Mount Sion, winning a combined total of eight championship medals.
