The Short-lined Chocolate (Argyrostrotis anilis) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Quebec and Ontario, down through the eastern United States to Florida and Texas.

The wingspan is about 25 mm.

The larvae feed on Prunus americana and Sabatia.
