Autumn Burke (born November 23, 1973) is an American politician serving in the California State Assembly. She is a Democrat representing the 62nd district, encompassing parts of Westside and the South Bay in Los Angeles County, California.
Prior to being elected to the state assembly, she was a realtor and business consultant. She is a vice-chair of the California Legislative Black Caucus.[1]
She is the daughter of former congresswoman and Los Angeles County supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke. Her mother was the first member of Congress to give birth (to Autumn) while in office.[2] They appeared together on the March, 1974 cover of Ebony (magazine).
