Barcelona (Cornish: Krows Trevelowen, meaning Cross at Trelawne) is a hamlet in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom in the parish of Pelynt.[1] It is three miles (5 km) west of Looe at grid reference SX 219 536.
Trelawne Manor (Cornish: Trev Elowen, meaning farm of the elm tree) lies immediately north of Barcelona and was formerly the ancestral home of the Trelawney family (a Cornish family tracing back to the Saxon period). It is now a leisure complex and holiday park.[2]
The nearby football pitch is named "the New Camp", a tribute to the home stadium of the football club of the Spanish city of the same name.[citation needed]
