The Boots and Hearts Music Festival is a multi-day country music festival in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, that is held annually at Burls Creek Event Grounds. It was previously held at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park from 2012-2014.
The festival, founded by Shannon McNevan, began in 2012 and was inspired by McNevan’s visit to the annual Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. McNevan’s friendship with first year headliner Carrie Underwood played a large role in popularizing the festival.[1]
Boots and Hearts has quickly grown to become the largest camping and music festival in Canada[2][dubious ] and is often considered the second largest music festival in North America behind only the CMA Music Festival.[citation needed] This success has drawn headliners such as Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line and many other country music stars.
