Caroline Crossing is a rural locality in the Shire of Murweh, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Caroline Crossing had a population of 13 people.[1]

Caroline Crossing does not have a postcode, as it is grouped with Augathella for postal purposes.[3]

History

The locality was named and bounded on 28 March 2002.[2] It is presumably named after the ford across the Warrego River known as Caroline Crossing (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.).[4][5]

In the 2016 census, Caroline Crossing had a population of 13 people.[1]

Road infrastructure

The Landsborough Highway runs past the western extremity, near Augathella.[6]
