Caroline Plumb OBE is a British internet entrepreneur and business personality. She is the current CEO and co-founder of Fluidly and previously served as a CEO of FreshMinds.[1] She also currently serves as a non executive driector of AIM-listed Mercia Technologies. In 2019, she was named as one of the most important women personalities in UK Tech 100 list.[2]
Career
She pursued her higher studies at the St John's College, Oxford which is a constituent college of Oxford University. She completed her first class degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from the Oxford University.[3] After graduating from the St, John's College, she began her career as an entrepreneur and initiated FreshMinds as a research consultancy in 2000 with fellow colleague Charlie Osmond. She left Freshminds and co-founded Fluidly, a popular cashflow management software business company and is still serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the firm.[4] In 2003, she was nominated in Management Today's 35 Women Under 35 list for her outstanding services in the business field. In 2010, she was appointed by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom as the UK Business Ambassador. Caroline was also awarded the Order of the British Empire title at the 90th Birthday Honours in 2016 for rendering her services to business and charity. She won the ELITE Rising Star Award at the 21st century Icon Awards.[5]
