Carshalton and Wallington /kɑːˈʃɔːltən ənd wɒlɪŋɡtən/ is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom since 1997 by Tom Brake of the Liberal Democrats. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
The constituency was created at the 1983 general election, replacing the former seat of Carshalton. After the 2015 general election, when Brake was re-elected with a decreased majority, it is the only Liberal Democrat seat in Greater London and one of only two in the south of England, the other being North Norfolk.
